Aled Edwards

Aled is the founding and current CEO of the Structural Genomics Consortium (SGC), a public-private partnership founded in 2003 that accelerates biomedicine and drug discovery through open science. Operating out of laboratories in 5 countries, including Germany, the SGC focuses on creating research tools and identifying functions for those proteins that are encoded by the human genome but that are relatively under-studied. Aled is also Professor at the University of Toronto.
