Join our mission to promote science & science engagement and get involved if you are a national or international university, a research institution, a science-based start-up or an innovative business, a science engagement & science policy initiative, or an interdisciplinary science project in arts & culture.

As a global hub, our mission is to strengthen vibrant and diverse scientific networks as well as to facilitate a fruitful, open, and interdisciplinary dialogue between science and society.

Guided by the leitmotif ‘Dare to Know’, we partner with organisations from all over the world to showcase scientific excellence, promote debates on the world‘s major challenges, and find new, interactive, and fun ways to make science, research, and innovation more engaging.

While you implement and finance your event(s) from 1 to 10 November independently, we will advise you, create synergies, and support and connect you with fellow participating organisations – free of charge. We coordinate, curate, and communicate the programme to the media and the public, and provide visibility and awareness for your events through a wide range of activities.

BERLIN SCIENCE WEEK CAMPUS

On top of that, on 4 and 5 November we offer fully equipped spaces for rent at the Berlin Science Week Campus – the central festival hub at the striking Museum für Naturkunde Berlin.

Among fossils, evolutionary exhibits and geological discoveries, the Campus transforms into the Berlin Science Week festival hub with inspiring events, interventions, workshops, networking opportunities and interactive exhibitions. This year’s theme is ‘Paradigm Shift. Co-Creating a Sustainable Now’. We will be focusing on in-person encounters, but will also offer a track for interactive hybrid events.
