Seven science-institutes celebrate 30 years of collaborating within Forschungsverbund Berlin. The wildly diverse research fields of IGB, IKZ, PDI, WIAS, IZW, MBI, and FMP lets us have impact on virtually every aspect of society. The extraordinary research endeavours show us every day how important the big diversity in research-topics and approaches, management-structures and leadership-culture is. We experience a wide diversity in cultures, background, and life-choices at our institutes.
It is obvious that brilliant ideas only get the air they need in a diverse environment.
Let’s celebrate! With elevator-pitches, scientific crosstalk between fish-research and quantum folks, wildlife, crystals, pharmacological research, math and ultra-short lasers and a good heap of fun. Ever heard of Powerpoint Karaoke? You should.
The evening will finish with a great concert by Saudia Young and since the bar is promised to be open, nobody knows when you will go home. But we do know that everybody will get home eventually – thrilled, enlightened and flashed by the diversity of research in Forschungsverbund Berlin
